Welcome
to the Idaho Resource Advisory Committee website, a project of Environmental
Science and Public Policy Research Institute at Boise State University.
This site serves as the home page for the Southwest Idaho RAC. This RAC reviews project proposals for the Boise National Forest, Payette National Forest and adjacent lands in southwest Idaho. This site also monitors the activities associated with implementation of P.L. 106-393, specifically the activities of the 15-person Resource Advisory Committees (RACs), which will decide where and how to spend certain federal monies on National Forest projects. We will also gather and post information on projects funded under Title III of the legislation. There
has been strong interest in creating a central place for the various
Resource Advisory Committees and their members to go to share information
and experience regarding the “Title II” public lands
projects. We hope that this web site can serve that need. This site
also compiles information on projects supported by Title III of
the legislation. |
